"Glenthomson", 30 kilometres south of Longreach was sold by Ben Forrest & Rawdon Briggs from Colliers International Queensland.
The area in which "Glenthomson" is situated is regarded as a successful sheep breeding district - and the property itself is testament to this.
"Glenthomson" has a large carrying capacity and is currently running 20,000 sheep and 1800 cattle.
Country is mostly open to lightly shaded boree, whitewood, gidgea, and supplejack gently undulating downs with heavy Mitchell pastures along with Flinders and buffel, with exceptional stands of herbages this season.
"Glenthomson" offers a total of 24 dams, and is also watered by three creeks which traverse the property.
Infrastructure includes two shearing sheds, machinery and hay sheds, and two sets of cattle yards.
The structural improvements have been carried out to allow for both mixed grazing and breeding including two homesteads, each with five bedrooms.
