Colliers International appointed to manage Quest Port Adelaide Serviced Apartments, following deal brokered by Office Leasing
Colliers International’s Adelaide-based Real Estate Management division has recently been appointed to manage the Quest Port Adelaide Serviced Apartments, following a deal brokered by the Office Leasing team.
The Hans Ehmann-developed project is the largest development in the port in more than 45 years. A $26million five-storey hotel complex, Quest Port Adelaide consists of 104 rooms and is situated adjacent to the historic Fisherman’s Wharf Market.
Due to a long-standing relationship with the building owner, REM director Kyla Daly was successful in obtaining the management of the building and also in carrying out the facilities management for the franchisee, with this service charged back through outgoings.
The REM team was privileged to be invited to the launch of the hotel complex in February, where the apartments were officially opened by premier Jay Weatherill and other dignitaries, including the mayor of City of Port Adelaide Enfield.
Office Leasing associate director Jeevan Deut brokered the deal, a culmination of more than four years of hard work, from inception and planning to development and construction of the hotel. The annual rental is just more than $2million per annum on lease term of 21 years, plus two rights of renewal at seven years each.
