Located on the Corner of Woodpark Road and the Cumberland Highway in Smithfield, Sydney’s South West will soon be home to a new landmark large format retail centre called Lifestyle Connection Woodpark.
Currently marketed by Colliers International’s Large Format Retail experts, Cameron Henshaw and Tony Draper, they are expecting strong interest from local, national and international retailers.
“Australia’s appetite for household goods like hardware, garden supplies, electrical goods and furniture are all in high demand due to continual growth in the residential market which has continued to grow year on year,” said Colliers International’s Director of Large Format Retail, Cameron Henshaw.
“This consumer demand is presenting a unique opportunity for new and existing large format retail operators up and down the east coast to expand into Sydney’s growing South West Corridor.”

The site offers a range of tenancies from 70sqm to over 6,000sqm of large format space including 1,421sqm of restaurant/fast food, child care, medical centre, recreational activities and 1,250 parking spaces over a total floor space of 49,910sqm. It is expected to provide 500 new jobs when completed and over 150 jobs during construction which is expected to commence later this year.
The site is being developed by local and experienced developer Snowside Properties.

The centre has substantial exposure to the Cumberland Hwy with an average daily count of approximately 65,000 cars according to RMS Traffic numbers both north and south bound with an additional 17,000 cars that pass the centre on Woodpark Road.
The site will provide convenient access with intersectional traffic lights and has been designed to provide retailers with consumer sight lines from the highway providing advantageous branding opportunities to a high number of traffic.
