A Manager within the Research team, my focus is on NSW Office, Healthcare & Retirement Living, and Hotels. I have 10 years’ experience in commercial real estate, working in tenant advisory and leasing, and in recent years, research.
My career began at Meriton within the Commercial Leasing team where my responsibility was leasing retail and office space within the (then) newly constructed Meriton Tower at 528 Kent Street, Sydney.
From 2008, my time as Tenant Representative for CBRE, Global Corporate Services led me to advocate for many clients including American Express, DP World, Commonwealth Bank, Toshiba and Diageo where my responsibility was sourcing premises, relocations, renegotiate leases, surrenders, outgoings disputes and makegoods.
I then acted on behalf of The Westpac Group whilst at Cushman & Wakefield (formerly DTZ). My role included negotiating, sourcing and securing suitable retail space within the St George retail and office portfolio. I was also responsible for surrenders and makegoods for retail space, as well as the surrender or sublease of St George's vacant office space.
As I enjoyed investigations into and analysis of micro market conditions, I sourced a role as a Research Analyst at the Property Council of Australia. Managing a team of 4, the team provided internal stakeholders with analysis and commentary to support their national and state-based advocacy agendas, as well as produce highly regarded industry publications; the Office Market Report and Shopping Centres Directories. Customised research was requested on a regular basis from the industry and presentations of the Office Market Report findings were conducted for Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation as well as local councils.
