Colliers International is continuing to supercharge its senior leadership structure, today announcing that Craig O'Donnell has been appointed to the role of National Director - Retail Investment Sales.

The appointment is the third top-tier announcement in a week, with Peter Chittenden to rejoin the company as Managing Director of Colliers International - Residential, and Jim Midgley promoted to the role of Managing Director its wholly owned subsidiary, PRDnationwide.

Nathan Clark, Colliers International National Director - Retail, said the calibre and track record of the personnel the business has recruited of late is testament to the strength of the Colliers International brand and its standing in the market.

"Retail is a major focus of Colliers International and Craig's appointment is a coup for the division with his extensive experience and solid relationships with Institutions and private investors."

Prior to joining Colliers International, Mr O'Donnell operated his own real estate practice based in the Brisbane CBD for seven years.

Significant Queensland retail real estate sales he completed include the Calamvale Village Shopping Centre on behalf of PSA to Mirvac for $97 million, the Consolidated Retail Portfolio on behalf of Consolidated Properties to FKP for $57 million and 333 Ann Street on behalf of Devine to Domain for $120 million.

In addition to these sales, in recent years Mr O'Donnell has finalised 16 major tenant pre-commitment deals with either Coles or Woolworths, and acted in the site acquisition, design development, delivery and sale of several new shopping centre development projects.

Last week Colliers International announced the $17.335 million sale of Belmont Road Shopping Village in Brisbane on a yield of 9.25 per cent. The division also has more than $120 million in shopping centres currently in due diligence or under advanced negotiation.

Mr O'Donnell will be based in Colliers International's Sydney CBD office.
