National lift design and manufacturing company P.R King & Sons have purchased a warehouse close to Brisbane Road in Biggera Waters.

Joshua Wright, Colliers International Industrial Executive, negotiated the sale of the 216sq m building, located at Unit 6, 8-10 Centre View Drive, on behalf of former owner-occupier Rio Graphix.

Mr Wright said the warehouse was originally offered for lease, but after two months Rio Graphix decided to list it for sale and offer a 'virtual' service to their clients online and via a mobile service."

New owners P.R King & Sons are based in Sydney and recently expanded in to Queensland, originally running their operation from a home-office.

Mr Abdul Jallad, the company's Queensland Manager said they are excited to have their own showroom and warehousing facility in such a convenient location.

Mr Wright says the property was well received by the market.

"It attracted strong enquiry from business owners around the Labrador and Runaway Bay area who were looking for space close to home," he said.

"Enquiry along the nearby Brisbane Road has been strong in recent months and this property was a standout, as one of the few tilt slab units available in the area."

The property fronts Centre View Drive which is believed will lead into the planned extension of Harbour Town in coming years.

Mr Wright said lease rates for the area has been between $90 to $110 per square metre for metal clad buildings, $110 to $125 per square metre for tilt slab construction.

"The sale represents a good sale price for both the Vendor and the Purchaser," he said.
