With an extensive background of over 30 years in real estate spanning all sectors of the market, Chris brings a wealth of experience to Colliers International in client management and sophisticated negotiation solutions whilst delivering a high level of customer service.
Since becoming Managing Director of the Newcastle office in 2013, Chris has been instrumental in the development and growth of the business, leading a team of over 30 dedicated staff in maintaining the leading market share position in Newcastle.
Chris has an in-depth understanding of property development and has been involved in the sale, construction and development of over $600 million worth of residential, commercial, retail and industrial property. His extensive knowledge of all sectors of real estate allows him to provide prudent advice to clients incorporating:

Senior Property Manager | Real Estate Management
A rich history of property management and commercial/retail leasing having worked with some of Australia’s leading office and retail landlords, including Colonial First State, Investa, QIC, REST Superannuation, Dexus and The GPT Group across Sydney’s CBD major assets of 40,000sqm and above.
Specialisation areas include management of office floor refurbishments, Facilities Management, contract management, lease management and financial management.
Peter is a strategic negotiator who is persistent and informative, which ensures his clients receive the most comprehensive advice and best possible results in the market.
Over the course of Peter’s 25 years’ in the property industry he has gained invaluable negotiation skills and track record in relation to commercial and retail property, along with mixed use and residential development sites (englobo and high density). Given his valuation background and understanding of the value drivers associated with all asset classes, coupled with his working knowledge of feasibility studies and Discounted Cash Flows he has also undertaken consultancy assignments for key clients, who rely on his expert opinion and strategic advice.
Peter has been part of Colliers International since 2002, and is deeply connected and can fully leverage all facets of the broader business, being a respected member of the National Senior Leadership Team.
Over his career Peter has gained unrivalled rapport with Local and State Government, private owners, Listed A-REITS, wholesale funds, development companies and large retail companies/owner occupiers.
Peter manages the largest dedicated commercial, industrial and real estate management team in the Hunter Region.
Trent has enjoyed a career so far spanning over 25 years that commenced in 1993 undertaking industrial and commercial agency work in Newcastle. Trent commenced with Colliers International in 1999 and soon after began specialising in Industrial Sales and subdivision projects .
Trent is now the National Director of Industria lsales and leasing and has acted for a large number of notable clients, corporations and government agencies on Industrial projects throughout the Hunter Region and Central Coast of NSW.

Heads the REM division of Colliers Newcastle.
Michael joined Newcastle’s commercial sales and leasing team in July 2013. With over six years of experience selling and leasing properties throughout the Hunter Region with a proven track record of success, he has become well versed within the Newcastle market, specialising in a range of markets including Commercial and Retail Leasing, Investment Sales, Development Sales and Vacant Possession Sales.
During this time he has proven to be one of the most active agents in the industry, extremely motivated and a highly strategic operative that understands the sale and leasing process and market drivers. His extensive understanding of the commercial market and ability to generate leads via his local and national relationships has seen him achieve over $53,000,000 in sales and leases since 2017 and complete over 143 transactions in total.
During his time at Colliers International, he has worked with a range of clients including national institutions, retail funds, investment funds, banks, national corporate clients and various private local clients.
Luke joined the Colliers International Newcastle team in 2014 as an Executive, having a pure focus on commercial sales and leasing across the Newcastle Region. Over the course of his five year property journey, Luke has worked on a wide range of asset classes including Retail Sales and Leasing, Investment Sales, Development Site Sales, Commercial Leasing and Vacant Possession Sales. During this time, Luke has endeavored to forge himself as one of the most dependable and enthusiastic property experts in the Newcastle area with an attention to detail and a commitment to go above and beyond for his clients and colleagues. Having completed over 200 transactions in his career at Colliers International, Luke is constantly striving to improve his communication and negotiation skills, and cement himself as one of the region’s best. Nick joined the Newcastle team of Colliers International as Executive in 2016, and has a pure focus on commercial and retail transactions across the Newcastle region.
Prior to joining Colliers International, Nick gained close to ten years’ experience in in the real estate industry, with the previous four years focusing on the sale and leasing of commercial and retail properties in and around the Newcastle area. Nick is proactive and highly self-motivated in delivering high quality customer and client service.

Executive, Commercial Sales and Leasing
Ben is a team oriented, customer-focused sales professional with over 15 years’ experience operating in both Australia and Internationally. Ben is a key team member of Colliers International Newcastle, specialising in commercial sales and leasing. With refined communication and motivational skills to produce comprehensive results, Ben is an excellent negotiator who builds and maintains productive rapport, through the application of strong interpersonal skills.
With a strong understanding of market driving factors and a highly tuned analytical skill set, Ben has the ability to drive mutually beneficial outcomes for all parties, whilst maintaining key relationships.
James joined Colliers International in late 2017 and is an active member of the Newcastle Commercial Sales & Leasing team specialising in a range of asset classes including Development Site Sales, Vacant Possession Sales and Investment Sales, at a local and regional level.
His extensive knowledge of the property industry spans from his 15 years’ experience working in Residential, Rural and Prestige Property Sales, as well having already been an active member in the Colliers International Residential Project Marketing Newcastle team.
James has had a diverse background in property which allows him a high level of negotiation skills and understanding of the key drivers in the region locally and beyond.
