I have been with Colliers International for over 25 years and am the Managing Director of Capital Markets & Investment Services, Australia as well as the State Chief Executive of Victoria.
I have established a strong reputation in the Capital Markets space and have formed close relationships with major investors and institutions on a global scale. In recent years, I have negotiated some of Australia’s largest real estate transactions and have been instrumental in successfully brokering many substantial transactions with overseas investors entering the Australian market. My extensive connectivity in the global real estate market can unite capital with local expertise, regardless of location.
Our national Investment Services business represents market specializations including Capital Markets and Investment Sales. The two clear divisions servicing the Australian commercial office market ensures complete market coverage, efficiency and premium experiences and successes for our clients.
As a long standing senior member within Colliers International, I have played an integral role in contributing to the business's success in Australia. James has been advising funds, high net worth individuals, corporations and offshore groups in relation to all facets of Real Estate for over 17 years. Trent has over 13 years’ experience in property, largely providing investment advice on major Melbourne CBD and metropolitan office assets for a wide range of local and offshore listed real estate investment trusts, wholesale investment funds, superannuation funds and offshore sovereign wealth funds.

Michael joined Colliers International in 2018 after re-locating to Australia from Asia. His global career has spanned several industries, including 12 years in real estate in Asia (Singapore, Hong Kong, Philippines and Japan) and the United States (New York, Chicago, and San Francisco). Michael's real estate experience comprises real estate private equity, investment banking, and capital markets advisory, where he led over USD4 billion of real estate-related transactions globally. He maintains an extensive referral network for connecting and accessing both onshore and offshore capital, particularly from Asia including Singapore, Hong Kong, the Philippines, Indonesia, Vietnam and Myanmar for commercial properties in Australia.
As Director of the ACT Capital Markets team, Michael specialises in the sale of CBD and Metro Office assets. The team has achieved over 60% market share in the past two years and transacted over $600m in office sales during that time. The team has also been recognised as the REIACT Commercial agency of the year for 2017, 2018 and 2019 and well as the REIA Commercial Agency of the year 2019. Michael is also a member of Colliers International's Asia Markets team that specialises in bringing Asia-based capital to property investments in Australia.

My commercial property experience spans almost 25 years and has been based on a solid foundation of 17 years in the valuation industry. My transaction experience varies from short stay accomodation to CBD offices. In the past 3 years I held a General Manager role at a private property company where I oversaw the acquisition and development of substantial commercial, retail and industrial projects and my experience on both the agency and client side of transactions has been immensely advantageous for my current role.
Paul is a Director in the South Australian Capital Markets and Investment Services team, having spent the last 28 of his 33 years in property with Colliers International Adelaide.
Paul has a broad knowledge base spanning across all sectors including office, retail, development and agribusiness real estate. Paul specifically focuses on institutional and investment grade assets in the office and retail sectors in Adelaide’s CBD and metro markets. He has extensive experience working with local, national and international clients and focus on exceeding his client’s expectations.
Paul is a Licensed Real Estate agent and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Science (Property Valuation). His knowledge areas include strategic investment advice, sales and marketing strategy, and acquisition and disposal advice.

Richard is responsible for the promotion of New Zealand property to international investors, leveraging of his relationships developed in executive positions during his near 8 years in Hong Kong, as well as assisting to grow the company’s nationwide Rural and Agribusiness agency capability.
Richard began his real estate career in 2004 with CBRE, in the five years he spent with them (before leaving to run Colliers Hong Kong business in 2008) he was involved in many notable transactions including the sale of the Lion Nathan site in Newmarket for $162m, the sale of the GE & BNZ Britomart properties on behalf of Manson’s to the German fund HIH and portfolio sales, including the successful auctioning of 16 National Bank Branches across New Zealand.
During his time as MD of Colliers Hong Kong he was involved in the sale of 50 Connaught Road on behalf Apollo Group (a New York based Hedge Fund) to the Agricultural Bank of China for $US632m.
Richard was the Managing Director of Colliers Hong Kong office for six years from 2009-2014. During this time he was an active participant in several high value transactions and developed broad relationships with both Asian investors and colleagues across the region.
In late 2014, Richard agreed to run CBRE’s Asia Pacific Capital Market business, including their Capital Advisory (Real Estate Investment Banking) business, this further added to his knowledge of real estate investors, particularly in greater Asia.
As a senior executive of Colliers for 6 years in Hong Kong, Richard has strong personal relationships with Colliers personnel across the globe.
