Possessing over 15 years’ experience with leading property firms including Westfield, Stockland, CBRE and Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL), Anna has developed a significant understanding of the operational and financial management requirements of large scale retail and commercial assets, located both in New South Wales and South Australia.
Originally employed with the Westfield Investor Relations team based in the Sydney head office, Anna conveyed her superior analytical and organisational skills to the Stockland Facilities Management department, effectively facilitating national operational contracts for the countless retail, commercial, business park and residential properties within the Stockland portfolio. Whilst successful in optimising the operational profitability of Stockland’s asset portfolio through identification of new business initiatives and efficiencies, she was also responsible for implementing strategic objectives for the group and maintaining alignment with her employer's values.
Following relocation to South Australia, Anna commenced employment with CBRE within the asset management department, effectively supporting the senior Management team to identify and develop innovative operational solutions across the retail portfolio, as well as providing high level assistance to the operations managers, finance managers and centre managers across South Australian assets. Anna was instrumental in the development of national initiatives within CBRE, including the creation of web-based operations applications and procedures, to ensure both great customer service and long term results for key stakeholders.
Anna’s demonstrated history of understanding of the retail property industry, resulted in her most recent employment satisfying the roles of Centre, Property, Operations and Leasing manager on a portfolio of large, established retail and commercial properties in both the Adelaide CBD and regional areas. Utilising proven negotiation abilities, tenants were afforded decreased operational costs during the financial year, and following the implementation of prepared marketing strategies; an increase in foot traffic during Anna’s tenure was substantiated, thus allowing for leasing growth and resulting in a 97% occupancy rate throughout the portfolio.
Anna’s proven skills in asset management, negotiation, budgeting, business planning, leasing and operations; coupled with sound knowledge of marketing strategies, retail trends, business acumen and property forecasts makes her an enormous asset to the Colliers International business.
