"I have been a small property developer since 2005 in three states - Perth, Sydney and SEQ and have completed more than $80 Million of my own property projects. One of my greatest frustrations in this industry is working with real estate agents who for the most part do not understand property development.
Jason is a rare gem that when I approached him about one of his development listings he actually working with me to bring the deal together. Specifically he was very swift at obtaining the Development Approval documentation and follow up the owner and their various consultants to answer my detailed questions to allow me to de-risk the purchase.
Jason went above and beyond in that he proactively assisted in the due diligence process and I have not encountered an agent especially in SEQ who has ever done that before. Most agents simply expect he developer-buyer to gather all the information themselves-to which I wonder why those agents think that they are deserving of a commission.
Jason on the other hand did invest his time in understanding the deal and the issues I needed to cover off to be able to buy his client's listing. This included creating an appropriate introduction to the owner to assist me in clarifying some issues with the project that were able to be resolved through mutual cooperation and communication.
