Melissa started her career in Real Estate in 2016 joining Colliers International Wollongong as first point of contact and in a supportive capacity to the Sales, Leasing and Property Management Departments.
During this time, Melissa demonstrated sound understanding of systems, follow up procedures and the importance of communication with customers and clients alike. As a result, Melissa was promoted to Team Assistant to the Residential, Commercial Sales and Leasing department.
Melissa’s role is very diverse in that it covers not only providing administrative support to the Residential and Commercial departments, but also supporting the entire team with the capabilities to ensure sales are progressing, liaising between both the vendor, sales executive and the purchaser for each sale and ensuring the accuracy of project data and reports. Supporting not only the team but also vendors and purchasers involved in the project from launch to settlement. As part of this role Melissa also provided support to the Marketing Department with the assistant of managing online property listings, project Facebook pages, Social Media content and email communications.
In 2017 Melissa took on the role of Marketing Co-ordinator for Colliers International’s Wollongong Office, specialising in creating and executing new marketing strategies to help accelerate the success of each client. Melissa also supports the team with the preparation of property marketing material, proposals, demographic reports, marketing and research support. Melissa loves to create ideas from scratch, making customized marketing templates for our clients and helping to promote their brand, striving to bring a unique set of ideas for rebranding and repositioning of each clients asset.
