9 Tully settles and buyers start moving into new East Perth homes

Apartment building 9 Tully officially joined Perth’s residential market last week with settlement of the apartments starting and the first buyers moving into their new homes.

The 79-apartment project revived a vacant site on the north-western corner of Claisebrook Village and is LKD Development Group’s third Perth project.

LKD Development Group Director Fabian Deng said 9 Tully’s apartments were well received by the market because buyers were focusing on developers with a track record for building quality apartments with well-designed layouts.

“With thoughtful interiors and East Perth’s amenity also on offer, most of the apartments were snapped up by owner-occupiers,” Mr Deng said.

Apartments in the $40 million, nine-level project were sold by Colliers International’s Willie Lim who said the building’s location and its central atrium also appealed to buyers.

“Designed by Doepel Marsh Architects, the building wraps around a central atrium so it looks and feels different to other apartment complexes,” Mr Lim said.

“Located just three kilometres from Perth’s CBD and with city, Swan River and Optus Stadium views, 9 Tully also met strong demand for convenient city-fringe living.”

The building is just a short walk from Claisebrook train station and one train stop from Perth Stadium railway station. Residents can also walk across Windan Bridge or the new Matagarup Bridge to get to the Burswood Peninsula.

Mr Lim said 24 apartments were still for sale including one three-bedroom apartment and a selection of one and two-bedroom apartments. Prices start from $365,000.

The building's strata manager will be Jason Todd from Colliers International's Strata Management Division.
