Colliers International cleans up at the Dexus awards

Colliers International has been honoured at the 26th annual Dexus Excellence in Agency Awards, for their outstanding contribution to Dexus’ leasing and transaction success.

Colliers collected four awards at the event, held at The Star in Sydney, including Office Agency of the Year, Office Transaction of the Year, Industrial Agency of the Year and Industrial Transaction of the Year.

Andrew Beasley, Edward Knowles and Zak Seccull, of Colliers International, Melbourne were the team behind 2019’s Office Transaction at 452 Flinders Street, while Nick Saunders of South Melbourne took out the Industrial Transaction award.

Winners of the annual Dexus awards are determined based on their success in concluding leasing and property transactions for the 2019 financial year on behalf of Dexus or its third-party capital partners.

Zak Seccull

I have been a member of the market leading Colliers International Melbourne CBD Office Leasing team in the position of Associate Director for the past two (2) years, having previously spent five (5) years with the JLL Melbourne CBD Office Leasing team, commencing through the JLL graduate rotational program in 2012.

During this time I have proven to be one of the most active agents in the industry, concluding over 500 leasing transactions on behalf of my clients across new development and existing buildings in the Melbourne CBD, Docklands and Southbank precinct's to well known reputable tenants.

Simon Hunt

As the Managing Director of the Office Leasing Division my team includes over 100 staff and more than 75 leasing operatives across every State and Territory. I have been with Colliers International for 25 years, joining the Office Leasing team in 1993 and worked my way up to Managing Director in 2005.  Along with managing the Office Leasing National Team I hold a number of senior positions within Colliers including a member of the ANZ Executive, Executive Leadership Team and Senior Leadership Team.  I am a Licenced Estate Agent and a member of the Real Estate Institute of Victoria, Property council of Australia and RICS - Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyor.

My dual role of NSW State Chief Executive makes me responsible for overseeing the growth strategies of all NSW offices.
