Industry expert Amanda Rawstron appointed to lead new service offering
Colliers International has bolstered its end-to-end property solutions offering with the launch of its new in-house Logistics and Supply Chain Consulting service.
Colliers International’s Logistics and Supply Chain Consulting service is now offered through the Occupier Services team and provides organisations across Australia and New Zealand with the expertise and resources to achieve greater optimisation of their properties.
Colliers International’s Logistics and Supply Chain Consulting team provides a comprehensive range of services to large occupiers, including network strategy development, location selection, cost-to-serve analysis, facility design and automation selection.
Colliers International has appointed industry expert Amanda Rawstron as its National Director of Logistics and Supply Chain Management to lead the in-house service offering.
“We are constantly looking for ways to evolve our end-to-end property solutions to deliver more efficiencies and value to our industrial clients to accelerate their success. Our new in-house Logistics and Supply Chain Consulting service will strengthen the total expertise available to our clients, offering them every expert for every opportunity,” Doug Henry, Colliers International Managing Director of Occupier Services, said.
Peter Evans, Colliers International National Director of Occupier Services, has a strong client base of industrial occupiers across Australia and explained that organisations are increasingly recognising the need for a greater focus on logistics and supply chain within their business.
“Over the past 18 months, the Australian industrial landscape has changed significantly, with increased real estate prices, upward pressure on rent and the entry of global players, such as Amazon, into the local market. Now more than ever, organisations must look at their supply chain network and identify where the gaps and opportunities lie.”
“We are thrilled to welcome Amanda to Colliers International and to launch our Logistics and Supply Chain Consulting specialisation, building on our extensive expertise for industrial occupiers,” Mr. Evans said.
Ms. Rawstron has over 20 years’ experience in supply chain and logistics and has held senior positions at CEVA Logistics, Toll Holdings and Kings Transport in supply chain solution design, operations management and business analytics.
“I am excited to join Colliers International and work with industrial clients to ensure they continue to achieve elevated portfolio optimisation and maximised efficiencies,” Amanda Rawstron, Colliers International National Director of Logistics and Supply Chain Consulting, said.
“As the industrial landscape becomes increasingly dynamic, a strong logistics capability is essential for occupiers to increase optimisation, productivity and speed to market,” Ms. Rawstron said.
With its market-leading expertise and resources, Colliers International is well placed to support large occupiers across Australia and New Zealand to maximise cost efficiencies throughout their supply chain and logistics network and realise hidden value.
