Prior to joining Colliers International, I worked within the Research Department of the Property Council of Australia (PCA), then with a boutique firm of Valuers & Land Economists, where I was involved in the valuation of residential property predominantly for first mortgage security purposes, as well as commercial and retail rental advice.

Head of Retail
Andrew has been employed in the property industry at a leadership level for more than 25 years. Andrew has a broad range of experience in the valuation industry encompassing all of the major asset classes, but predominantly focussing on the valuation of Regional, Sub-Regional and neighbourhood shopping centres across Australia.
As Head of Retail, Andrew sets the strategy and direction of the national team under Colliers International Valuation & Advisory Services.
Tanya is Director of Valuation and Advisory Services within South Australia. In this role Tanya and her team are responsible for conducting valuations of office, industrial, retail and corporate property.
She has gained wide-ranging experience in providing professional property valuation and consultancy advice for various purposes including finance, financial reporting, insurance, leasing and rent review negotiation.
Tanya has acted for a wide range of clients including Listed Property Trusts, Superannuation Funds, Investment Syndicates, Major Financial Institutions, Private Investors, Corporates and all three levels of Government.
Tanya has extensive experience in the valuation of both CBD and suburban office buildings, large scale distribution centres, manufacturing facilities and various retail assets. In recent years, she has been directly involved in providing valuation services to State Government for the compulsory acquisiton of land.
Tanya also has extensive experience in managing portfolio valuation assignments, maintaining regular communication with our clients and ensuring that the national Colliers team meets key milestones.
National Director, Government Property Services
Phil leads the Colliers Australia, Government Property Services team, delivering Valuation and Advisory services to our many Government clients, at a Federal, State/Territory and Local Government level.
With in excess of 30 years experience in the Australian and New Zealand Government property sector, Phil brings an extensive, indepth understanding of Government property, Government relations, risk management, quality asssurance, governance and a diverse range of regulations and legislative frameworks.
Phil has a highly specialised knowledge and expertise in the valuation of Government property assets, at a Federal, State and Local Government level for the purposes of financial reporting, Treasury reporting requirements. Additionally Phils expertise covers advice to clients on strategic asset and management, as well as property tax (including valuations for Council rating and State land tax), advise to clients, both Government and private.
Prior to joining Coliers Australia in early 2019, Phil was the Head of Government Services (Australia and New Zealand) for Opteon Proeprty Group.
Of note, Phil was the New South Wales Valuer General for 11 years until late 2014. In this role, Phil was responsible for a valuation system that provided annually in excess of $3 Billion in land tax revenue for the State government and in excess of $4 Billion in rates revenue for local government councils. Phil was responsible for some significant enhancements to the valuation system, including improved transparency of valuations and supporting information being provided to land owners; an new customer service philosophy that provides for more open communication and interaction with property tax payers. All this has resulted in an improved valuation objection/appeal process which resulted in a significant reduction in the number of objections received each year.
Director | Specialisations
Dylan joined Colliers International as Manager of Specialisations, for the Valuation & Advisory Services business, in 2017.
Now, as Director of Specialisations, Dylan specialises in the valuation of freehold and leasehold self-storage facilities, service stations, child care centres and other education infrastructure throughout Australia and New Zealand.
Dylan undertakes valuation assignments for market value for first mortgage security, financial reporting, disposal due diligence, insurance development, feasibility, rental assessments and determinations. Notably, Dylan has also had considerable exposure across all asset classes.
Dylan’s excellent organisational skills and attention to detail allow him to complete significant assignments within the requested timeframes to a high standard.
Head of Agribusiness | Valuation & Advisory Services
Alex and his team specialise in the the provision of valuation and consultancy services to the rural and agribusiness sector on a national and international basis. They have specific skills in the wine, forestry, agriculture, horticulture, fisheries/aquaculture and large scale grazing and cropping sectors. The team also has plant and machinery qualifications, and deal with complex and specialised assets including large multi-jurisdictional portfolios on a regular basis.
Director | Healthcare & Retirement Living
Leon Hadchiti is Director | Valuation, Healthcare & Retirement Living. Leon has had in excess of 12 years’ experience in the valuation of Retirement Villages, Residential Aged Care Facilities, Hospitals, Medical Centres, Land Lease Communities (Manufactured Home Estates) and Greenfield/Brownfield Development sites.
Leon is responsible for the management of an experienced team of Valuers, where he has held the title of Director since mid-2017, and although based in Sydney, Australia, possesses the qualifications, knowledge base and experience in Healthcare valuations across Australia.
National Director | Valuation & Advisory Services
I have been involved in the real estate industry for over 18 years and commenced my career at L.J Hooker. After graduating from a Bachelor of Property Economics Degree in 2004, I took up a position with the NSW Department of Commerce valuing a number of government owned assets across the state of NSW.
In 2007, I joined the Colliers Hotels & Leisure Valuation team where I had the opportunity to value a wide cross section of accommodation and leisure type properties, across Australia. In March 2009, I transferred to the Colliers South Sydney team and have been involved in a cross section of commercial, industrial and residential properties, along with the opportunity to value various types of 'Going Concern' properties including hotels, budget accommodation, student accommodation, boarding houses and car parks facilities.
In 2013, I transferred to the Sydney CBD office, where my primary focus is hotels, student accommodation, backpackers and other accommodation properties.
Head of Industrial
Simon has 17 years’ experience in the property valuation industry, during this time he has undertaken valuations in all classes of real property for various purposes.
Simon joined the Colliers International team in the North Sydney Office as Director of Industrial in November 2017. Prior to this, Simon was a Director at Savills, responsible for management of the mortgage and government sectors of the business, and since 2012 has specialised in industrial valuations for institutional, private and mortgage clients.
Amy Hamilon, Director - Retail Valuations, has over sixteen years of consultancy and valuation experience within Queensland and New South Wales commencing her career in the property industry in 2001.
During this time, Amy has been exposed to a wide range of property types, valuation methodologies and purposes of valuation. Such purposes include mortgage security, mortgagee in possession resumption/acquisition, property settlement (family law), asset management and other litigation matters.
She is currently part of our Brisbane Commercial Valuation and Advisory Team.
