Accomplishments

Rocksberg, Caboolture (AV Jennings) - The Water Team were engaged to develop a masterplan for flood and stormwater management over an extensive parcel located near Rocksberg in Moreton Bay Regional Council LGA. The master planning process included the modification of the MBRC RFD Caboolture River Model to determine appropriate stormwater management and flooding outcomes and the conceptualisation of WSUD treatment trains across the project site to meet planning requirements but also to demonstrate best practice in stormwater quality management.

Rosella Street Bridge, Ellendale (Cedarwood Properties) - The Ellendale development located in Upper Kedron included the construction of a bridge over Cedar Creek. A 2-dimensional flood model (TUFLOW) was constructed to support the approval and detailed design of the bridge. Analysis included impact assessment, estimation of velocities and scour.

Kawana Master Drainage Study (Sunshine Coast Council) – master drainage study extending from Point Cartwright through to Moffat Beach. The scope of works included the definition of the existing stormwater network in conjunction with developing a rain on grid TUFLOW model to determine the overland flow / flooding characteristics within the catchment. Future (ultimate) land-use conditions were also represented.

Tooan Tooan Master Drainage Study (Fraser Coast Regional Council) – master drainage study over the Tooan Tooan and Lowlands catchment. Focus on flood risk and mitigation.

Petrie Mill Redevelopment (Moreton Bay Regional Council) – Detailed hydraulic modelling for the Petrie Mill re-development and preparation of a SWMP including a regional bioretention basin.
