Luke Rutledge joined the Colliers International Newcastle team in 2014, having a pure focus on commercial sales and leasing across the Newcastle Region. Over the last five years at Colliers in Newcastle he has gained invaluable experience across a wide range of asset classes including Retail Sales and Leasing, Investment Sales, Development Site Sales, Commercial Leasing and Vacant Possession Sales. During this time, Luke has endeavoured to forge himself as one of the most dependable and enthusiastic property experts in the Newcastle area, with an attention to detail and a commitment to go above and beyond for his clients and colleagues. Having completed over 200 transactions in his career at Colliers International, Luke is known for his communication and negotiation skills. Luke thoroughly enjoys working within a team environment and is always aiming to develop the skills to position himself as a leader within the business, being an honest, reliable and dedicated property expert in the region. 



In late 2016, Luke was appointed as a dedicated Retail Leasing Executive, the first specialist in not only the Colliers International Newcastle office, but the Newcastle Region. This opportunity has exposed Luke to the National business at a retail level to work closely with national experts, and their wider colleagues of the National Retail Leasing Team. This appointment has allowed Luke to work on a variety of projects including Project Leasing, Static Shopping Centre Leasing, and Strip Retail Leasing. Local, national and institutional clients whom Luke currently represent include: Primewest, Iris Capital, ISPT, Indigenous Business Australia, Coles Property Group, Muswellbrook Shire Council, Diamond Investments and GPT. Luke is constantly eager to improve his retail knowledge and connection with the National Business and attended the 2019 Retail Connect Conference in Sydney where he was able to collaborate with expert colleagues from all over Australia.


Prior to joining Colliers International, Luke obtained a Certificate of Registration, and is currently completing a Bachelor of Business / Commerce at the University of Newcastle.
