Scott joined Colliers International in August 2017 after Colliers acquired NixAnderson where he was previously Managing Director. As Managing Director of the Project Leaders division at Colliers, Scott leads a team of 60 talented and dedicated professionals. The team have a presence nationally and deliver projects for both landlords and occupiers across multiple asset classes including office, retail, industrial, hospitality sports & Leisure, health care and retirement living, and residential. Scott recently delivered the Northern Beaches hospital, a project Colliers is proud to represent.
With 20 years of industry experience Scott has been involved in all stages of the project life cycle, from delivering major complex projects through the bid, feasibility and inception stage, to design and construction and finally the asset handover to the end client.
As Managing Director of Project Leaders at Colliers International, Scott takes a personal and dedicated approach to ensure the needs of all clients are fully understood and delivered to a high standard.

Derek has over 40 years’ experience in the construction and property industry. Initially with Concrete Constructions Group Limited, where he was a Project Manager, he later moved to the Reed Group Pty Ltd where for over 17 years, he covered roles from Commercial Manager, and Chief Estimator to Project Manager, becoming a Director in 1988 before leaving and forming Nix Management in 1999. In 2014 Nix Management merged with Industry leading Infrastructure delivery expert Scott Anderson to become Nix Anderson Pty Ltd.
Over the past 18 years, Derek as Managing Director has overseen the delivery of $4B worth of projects without any formal dispute. Derek takes a hands on approach to all key requirements across the project working closely with each of the teams and keeping clients protected and informed at every stage. Clients have the confidence their project is being actively managed to control risks and take advantage of each opportunity.

Chris has more than 29 years’ experience in delivering significant projects on behalf of the State Government and Private institutions nationally. With Chris’ reputation for diligence in planning, quality, cost and program management, he has successfully delivered projects valuing from $1million to over $600million across his career.
Industry sectors where Chris has delivered include Education, Health, Law, Defence, Hospitality, Retail, Aviation, Arts, Sport & recreation, and Commercial premises.
Having delivered a number of significant State, Federal Private, and Private projects from inception to completion, Chris has had extensive involvement at managing all elements associated with social infrastructure, stakeholder management and related components.
Chris is cognizant in contract management and administration of Service Provider contracts, having managed hundreds of projects under varying contractual nature over his 29 years’ experience, including Consultant Services, GC21, AS4000 for Traditional and Design, Novate, Design & Construct. John’s experience is based on a broad range of projects for both major corporate and institutional clients across the private and public sectors up to the value of $200 million.
Over the years John has been responsible for the overall performance and management of profitability and delivery in all matters of Construction Contracts including Lump Sum, Design & Construction, Construction Management and negotiated projects.
John has played leadership roles for various reputable construction companies including Triden Constructions, Reed Group, KB Hutcherson, Beach Constructions and Leighton Contractors, as the Senior Project Manager, Construction and/or Commercial Manager.

Tim Edwards is an accomplished property professional with over 30 years’ experience in industrial, logistics and commercial property across the Australian and ASEAN markets and sectors.
Tim brings a strategic yet personable approach to all aspects of the commercial, industrial and logistics property development process and is firmly committed to the philosophy “experience matters, inspire confidence”. He has proven capability and expertise across all facets of property development from strategy, acquisitions, JV, ownership and funding structures, business development, project delivery, and customer relationship management.

Ian has over 36 years’ experience in the development industry and has a strong financial focus in property projects.Ian started his career in Scotland before working in Qatar and Sydney before moving to Queensland in 1990. Ian's experience covers numerous sectors including hotels, high rise residential, retail, retirement and hospitality projects. A well known and respected industry figure in S.E Qld, Ian specialises in Development and Project Management Services. Ian’s early involvement in projects with strategic advice helps ensure the overall project success, with a particular particular focus on tourism, hotel consultancy and residential projects.
Ian is a National Director of Colliers International Project Leaders which acquired GMP Management in 2018. Under Ian’s stewardship, GMP grew to be the largest Project Management Consultancy on the Gold Coast and expanded into Brisbane and Darwin.
Ian heads up our Queensland division, but is very much a hands on director, working out of both our Brisbane and Gold Coast offices. He has delivered some of S.E. Qld most notable projects including Westin Hotel and Mary Lane Residences, Pullman and Ibis Hotels Brisbane Airport, Novotel Southbank and Twin Towns Services Club.

Iain is an expert advisor in relation to the Commonwealth Government and provides expert leasing, transaction and project leadership services to key clients and Commonwealth Government entities. With this multi-disciplinary experience, Iain is excellently placed to provide the services required to successfully deliver any project.
Iain has delivered more than 133,000sqm worth of Commonwealth property projects and lease transactions in the past 5 years on both the Tenant side and the Landlord side.

Phillipa Aiken

With a career spanning over 18 years within the Construction Industry, Phillipa has been involved in the leadership and management of residential and commercial developments from concept to completion. Since joining NixAnderson (now Colliers International Project Management) in 2015, Phillipa has proven to be a dedicated and diligent Senior Project Manager who understands the sensitivities of what a client needs to make their project successful.
Phillipa has project experience within a number of industry disciplines, including residential, retail, commercial and education. Phillipa has extensive experience in the residential sector, through working for Developers such as Brookfield Residential Properties and Sterling Estates on a client-side basis, managing Contractors, Consultants and other key external stakeholders.
Phillipa has worked on a number of highrise residential developments (ranging from 3 storey townhouses to a 17 storey residential tower at Portside Wharf, Brisbane), with a focus of working closely with the Contractor to ensure timely project completion and apartment readiness for the purchaser at Handover. This involves ongoing design meetings with all relevant stakeholders and weekly site inspections with the Contractor to ensure program and quality are met.
By working directly with clients, consultants and contractors, Phillipa has developed a strong understanding of internal and external stakeholder management and how to effectively manage communication on a proactive basis.

Lee-Anne has over 20 years’ experience in the industry and is a Director within our Project Leaders Team.
Lee-Anne has a wealth of property experience across many sectors; retail, commercial, residential apartments, and consulting. Lee-Anne’s exceptional communication, people and client management skills have attributed to working autonomously with internal and external clients. Her involvement in both competitive tender bids and long term development projects have provided her with the ability to strategically plan, analyse and develop viable contributions to development schemes.
Lee-Anne commenced her career as a Graduate working with a private company and has gone onto work for companies such as Multiplex, Lend Lease and Probuild.
Stephen has over 15 years’ experience in the construction industry having worked on a wide range of projects in the United Kingdom and Australia. As both an experienced Project Manager and Chartered Quantity Surveyor, Stephen provides a wide range of services including Project Management, Design Management, Superintendency, Cost Management, Quantity Surveying, Financier Services and Project Feasibility Studies.
With experience on projects from $1m to $200m in value in Queensland and New South Wales Stephen is a well-established senior consultant who places particular importance in developing and maintaining strong Client relationships. Stephen has a high level of experience in the residential, education and commercial sectors and manages projects from inception through to completion to tight commercial and programme controls.

Mark joined Colliers International Project Leaders as Design Director in September 2018. He brings to this role 34+ years of Development, Design Management and Architectural experience which he has acquired across projects nationally and internationally.
He has broad ranging skills which traverse a projects lifecycle from the strategic and conceptual development to the final delivery and realisation. He has a sound understand of the development drivers and triggers and how to reconcile the forces influential in creating successful project outcomes. Through his lateral thinking abilities and attention to design detail, he has achieved innovative solutions within challenging projects.
