City of Sydney chooses Colliers

Colliers International REM team will manage Sydney of City property portfolio.

Colliers International Real Estate Management team have been appointed by City of Sydney to manage their diverse and extensive property portfolio.

The 251 property, over 1,000 lease and license portfolio consists of 400,00sqm of commercial and community property across retail, office, industrial, sporting, education and public use spaces. 

“Our appointment offers Colliers the opportunity to further strengthen our local government and community interest expertise as well as working alongside the City of Sydney to reposition a number assets, improve community engagement and reduce vacancy rates,” said Julia Batterley, National Director of Real Estate Management at Colliers International.

“We are looking forward to assisting the City of Sydney with the property and financial management service delivery, with a focus on optimising revenues from their Investment Portfolio, while providing effective management across the Community Portfolio.”

The Colliers International Real Estate Management team will be expanding by recruiting market leaders and promoting Colliers experts into 14 new roles. 

Led by David Kerridge, a team of 14 industry experts will support the City of Sydney’s property team to reach their key objectives, including strategic planning, seamless service, revenue optimisation, maximising sustainability outcomes and robust financial controls. 

“Colliers will use effective decision making through accurate and timely reporting, data management, as well as effective integration with other service providers to support the City in reaching these objectives,” said Denis Coupland, Managing Director of Real Estate Management at Colliers International.
