Q: How long have you been in the real estate industry and how did you come to join Colliers?
I started my Team Assistant role within Capital Markets, Investment Services and Office Leasing nine months ago. With an interest in property but no experience in the industry, this role was a perfect opportunity to gain insight.
Q: How do you think you use your expertise to add value to clients?
I regularly utilise my strong organisational skills to leverage the delivery of high-quality services to our clients during the entirety of both commercial leasing and sales campaigns. Further to this, I prioritise the importance of data analysis by ensuring a high level of compliance when recording information.
Q: What is the most fulfilling thing about your role?
I thoroughly enjoy being of an industry that provides a substantial amount of networking opportunities, and a multitude of means to expand my knowledge. My entrance into the industry has provided me with regular exposure to new challenges and experiences, allowing me to grow as both an employee and individual.
Q: Can you think of a transaction or project that you’re particularly proud of? What did you do to ensure its success?
Whilst only working in real estate for a short amount of time, it's been a great experience being part of the Geoscience HQ campaign for our Capital Markets team, as it’s provided an opportunity to witness all the moving parts and actions required of a large-scale campaign that is expected to be a record-breaking sale for the ACT. I personally contributed to this campaign through the collation of marketing collateral, documentation and communications.
