Q: How long have you been in the real estate industry and how did you come to join Colliers?
I’ve been in the property industry for over 20 years, and 13 of those years have been with Colliers. I originally joined Colliers in 2004 as I was keen to build my expertise with a strong brand in the industry. After a stint working in property overseas, I re-joined Colliers and the Real Estate Management Services team in 2010 and Colliers has only grown in expertise and market standing since then.

Q: How do you think you use your expertise to add value to clients? 
I am passionate about continuously delivering service that exceeds our clients’ expectations and the meticulous financial management of assets by my teams. Having worked in all aspects of property management throughout my career, I understand from the ground up how we can enhance asset value and maximise returns.

Q: What is the most fulfilling thing about your role? 
Building long-lasting relationships with clients and seeing the plans we put in place help to add value to their assets.

Q: Can you think of a transaction or project that you’re particularly proud of? What did you do to ensure its success? 
118 Mount St, North Sydney. We were appointed to transition and manage this A Grade, newly constructed building on behalf of our client. Our team collaborated exceptionally well with other Colliers service lines with our team’s expertise recognised by the client.

Q: What do you think the opportunity is for your clients' real estate strategies in the current environment?
Working with a team of experts who can: provide exceptional experiences for tenants, optimise asset performance through best-in-class technology, data & research, and work hard to maximise occupancy and reduce operating costs through best-in-class asset management.

I have over 15 years’ experience in the Real Estate industry and in this time have gained valuable experience in all aspects of Property Management including providing outstanding customer service, building strong relationships with all stakeholders, increasing asset values through proactive maintenance and capital expenditure programs, tenant retention strategies, lease negotiations, financial reporting, dealings with Legal representatives and arrears minimisation.

I started with Colliers in 2010 and have had various Property Management roles within REM in that time.  My current role as National Director of Private Clients is focused on business development and service delivery in the private client specialisation of Real Estate Management.  I work with the SPD's to implement business development strategies, nationalised marketing collateral and ensure we are constantly delivering service that exceeds our clients’ expectations through a proactive management approach.

Because we treat every asset like it’s our own, we find solutions others don’t look for.
