Meet our Expert Tanya Krejci

Q: How long have you been in the real estate industry and how did you come to join Colliers?
I have been in the industry for over 20 years. I joined Colliers in 2005 after returning from three years in London working as an Asset Manager of commercial and industrial estates. 

Q: How do you think you use your expertise to add value to clients?  
My experience and knowledge in running portfolios makes me an expert in transitions, process development, recruiting and leading team members. This creates an environment whereby we provide clients with not only exceptional service but also the right framework to successfully manage their portfolio and help support their broader business objectives.  

Q: What is the most fulfilling thing about your role?
The people that I work with – both clients and colleagues. I see every day as an opportunity to grow and learn. I enjoy expanding my knowledge and mentoring, supporting and encouraging others to do the same.

Q: Can you think of a transaction or project that you’re particularly proud of? What did you do to ensure its success? 
My team’s transition and establishment of the Colliers Vodafone account. This was a fast-paced and complex transition of over 4,000 sites nation-wide. The partnership that we created with Vodafone from day one, as well as the results achieved to date, is my proudest career achievement. 

Q: What do you think the opportunity is for your clients' real estate strategies in the current environment?
The current climate is a great catalyst for companies to engage with their employees to provide a long-term and sustainable way of working. It is an opportune time for companies to look at real estate partners that provide a best in breed solution and have a culture of collaboration and expertise to guide them on their journey.

An accomplished real estate professional with over 18 years property experience in the areas of commercial, industrial and residential property management and corporate real estate portfolio and account management.

In April 2016, Colliers International were successfully appointed on the management of the Vodafone portfolio, consisting of over 4,000 sites nationwide. As the Account Director, I have account and operational oversight including accountability for:

  • Delivery of tenure, transaction, property management, financial and lease administration services 
  • Implementation and management of Quality Management procedures and processes
  • Management of the Service Delivery team 
  • Delivery of all operational reporting

To date, we have achieved savings of over $54M for our client (over the term of the leases) and have doubled the original Account team in size

In 2018, I transitioned into a 50/50 split between leading the Vodafone Account and leading operations for Occupier Services - a role where I continue to grow and learn and I thoroughly enjoy being a part of our Occupier Services team - Division of the Year 2017 & 2018
