Valuation for an intending mortgagee (first mortgage security).

Challenge

To deliver valuation advice whilst navigating COVID-19 related travel restrictions. Client time constraints were challenging; however, the team was focused on delivering accurate and in-depth information within the specified timeframe.

Strategy

To overcome travel restrictions in place, our experts deployed local Colliers valuers across different business lines to ensure a timely inspection of the property. The team collaborated to deliver an As-Is value to Legacy Forest Pty Ltd, who have recently acquired the site in question.

Services

Market research and data was benchmarked against Colliers’ existing database, with the team applying their quality assurance methodology via Colliers Assure to deliver the most accurate and in-depth valuation advice possible.

Results

Colliers delivered the valuation report ahead of the initial timeframe agreed, with Living Legacy Forest in the process of financing their new site as an add-on to their existing ecologically-friendly business.

  • Major involvement with the Level Crossing Removal Authority’s ‘Voluntary Purchase Scheme,’ in Carnegie, Murrumbeena and Glenroy; specifically, residential properties, which enabled significant exposure to a ‘conference’ scenario with both the ‘check’ and owner’s valuer(s).
