Challenge

The Colliers Agribusiness transactions partnered with our client to publicly market for sale by expressions of interest ‘Peacefield Poultry’, a premium SEQ Poultry Portfolio, consisting of two high-quality agribusiness investments with highly-experienced management teams, instant cashflow, and regional council approved expansion potential.

Peacefield Poultry directors received multiple offers to purchase from existing corporate poultry operators. The shareholders decision was made after Simon Beirne approached one of the directors about our teams capability via Jesse Manuel’s desk, which resulted in providing a marketing submission that leveraged our vast experience in handling poultry assets nationally.

Strategy

The strategy was to aimed at alignment of timelines for corporate, private, and new entrants to these state-of-the-art poultry assets in two locations in South East Queensland.

This was done through comprehensive data set built inside Ansarada and conducting a single timeline national marketing campaign with deadline date expressions of interest campaign conducted over two rounds to increase competitive tensions amongst bidders constantly.

Results

High profile campaigns are generally not seen in the poultry sector however, the campaign produced 72 interested parties originating from both Queensland and interstate.

We received moderate expressions of interest to purchase for all in one line or individual assets. Four groups were placed into round two (shortlisted parties), with the final results exceeding the clients earlier off market offers by 14%.
