A world-class lifestyle and entertainment precinct is set to open on the Gold Coast

Gold Coast’s famous Surfers Paradise is set to host a new  world-class rooftop nightlife and entertainment precinct, contributing to Surfers Paradise’s social scene. 

The top floor of 3197 Surfers Paradise Boulevard, consumed in the middle of Surfers Paradise’s entertainment precinct, will be home to Cali Beach Club; a venue that aligns itself with the offerings provided in Las Vegas.

The retail centre is currently under refurbishment offering 3,500m² all on one level. Currently called X Galaxy, and previously Piazza on the Boulevard, this property is filled with indoor/outdoor features including day/night club facilities, large swimming pools with outdoor bars and cabanas. 

Artesian Hospitality, was offered this opportunity off-market as a result of its history and ability to bring online successful hospitality offerings in Australia. Both the negotiating agent, Ryan Chandler, landlord and Artesian are confident the proposed project will be unlike anything in Australia. The lease particulars are confidential, but it can be confirmed that both the tenant and landlord were extremely happy with the deal.

Senior Executive Ryan Chandler of Colliers explained, “due to the economic climate, the landlord was not able to contribute capital works as per usual market expectation therefore a unique deal structure was arranged for the benefit of activating the X Galaxy building and further stimulating the northern sector of Surfers Paradise’s entertainment precinct.” 

“In this instance the leasing deal consists of a rent-free period and discounted rental rates to support the tenant’s substantial fitout which will be in excess of $6,000,000.”
