Sale and Leaseback on Historical Macadamia Farm

Colliers Agribusiness is proud to present 'Warrawee' Wolvi QLD, For Sale via Expressions of Interest.

‘Warrawee’ is ideally located approximately 38 radial kilometres north-west of Noosa Heads, approximately 14 radial kilometres east of Gympie and approximately 60 radial kilometres north-west of the Sunshine Coast (Maroochydore CBD). The property has bitumen road frontage to Young Road and gravel tracks internally to main harvest roads.

The orchard was originally developed by a macadamia industry founder with tree varieties not found anywhere else in the world. The property historically had a 15,000 tree nursery where the MCT1 variety was bred. The parent trees are located onsite.

The orchard has historically been yielding over 4 tonnes NIS (nut in shell) per hectare and managed to an exceptionally high level. Wide spaced rows north south orientation on 3% cross slope and an average of 600m long rows with area to plant approximately 500 additional trees. Unique orchard of 6,100* mature trees with incredible cross pollination from over 70 mixed varieties scattered throughout the farm. Extremely consistent cropping due to natural pollinators from bush lands surrounding property.

Water infrastructure includes newly upgraded irrigation system including the underground mains, fitted with filtration and 25mm laterals utilising all Rivulis products. Additional water infrastructure includes a 25 meg dam*, running creek known as Jam Tin Creek through the middle of the farm with registered weir for water security.
