After a long period of relatively low transactional activity, we have witnessed a number of piggeries transact in the last 3-6 months.

Recent transactions indicate a 25% increase in value since late 2018 – which was the last time we witnessed strong transactional data from which to set benchmarking values.

Moving forward, we anticipate some variability in values in the short to medium term, however the recent increase in value for piggery assets is in line with general agricultural land value trends which have experienced strong growth in the last 12 to 24 months.
