Alex was previously the Team Leader for the Western Sydney Schools AMC Contract and responsible for the management, development and leadership of a team of 10 personnel managing the Facilities & Capital Works Programs on behalf of NSW Department of Education within the Western Sydney Region. Andrew is a design driven engineering consultant whos eye for detail has enabled Andrew to identify and resolve design and construction iisues throughout the project life cycle, ensuring projects are delivered on time and on budget.
Angus is a detail-oriented Project Coordinator with 2 years of experience in the construction industry working on both upgrades and new-build projects across educational, retail and commercial sectors. With experience in working for a multidisciplinary engineering consultancy, Bonnie has a strong understanding of design coordination and the requirements of each engineering discipline. Having worked on projects from concept design throughout to final commissioning and design certification, Bonnie take a special interest to understanding the key issues both from a design and administration point of view.

James has over twelve years in the construction industry, experienced in ensuring projects are delivered to programme, budget and the highest standards through project management services. James has a background in construction cost management and expertise working on a wide range of projects for both the public and private sectors.
James graduated from the University of South Australia with a degree in Construction Management and Economics. James continued his studies, completing a Graduate Certificate in Project Management for the Built Environment and a Masters of Property, both at the University of Newcastle.

One key role of James’ was as Project Manager, responsible for the design finalisation and delivery of the boutique 138-room hotel on behalf of the Adelaide Oval Stadium Management Authority (AOSMA). The cross-laminate timber (CLT) build was integrated into façade of the Eastern Grandstand, utilising the existing stadium structure and services infrastructure.

Jock is an outcome focused, energetic and strategic Project Engineerwho joined Colliers in 2020. Jock’s background in civil engineering and project coordination has given him a solid technical grounding and a knack for problem solving. Collaborating with clients, consultants, and contractors from a variety of disciplines and organisations has seen him utilise his strong communication skills to develop strong relationships in the industry. Jock has experience across both small and largescale education, retail, and commercial projects. Beginning his professional career in landscape maintenance and construction, Jock has enjoyed the transition from ‘on the tools’ projects to the management of projects.
With over 40 years of construction industry experience in the Sydney Metropolitan area and across Australia & New Zealand, John has extensive experience in all disciplines attributed to this Industry. John’s experience is based on a broad range of projects for both major corporate and institutional clients across the private and public sectors up to the value of $200 million.
Over the years John has been responsible for the overall performance and management of profitability and delivery in all matters of Construction Contracts including Lump Sum, Design & Construction, Construction Management and negotiated projects.
John has played leadership roles for various reputable construction companies including Triden Constructions, Reed Group, KB Hutcherson, Beach Constructions and Leighton Contractors, as the Senior Project Manager, Construction and/or Commercial Manager. Now representative of the Principal in the project managemnt process of construction, John has undertaken the PM role since 2004 in leadership roles for Nix Managemnt, NixAnderson and with the acquisition of NixAnderson in 2017 by Colliers, has worked with the Colliers team of over 60 professionals across Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Canberra Adelaide & Perth.
John’s experience with Key Stakeholder engagement on projects has involved all manner of design & authority disciplines, end users and property owners to provide an accomplished overview for strategic management of the projects now undertaken for our clients. He has particular experience working in live environments on various educational retail and infrastructure projects of a complex and staged nature that require a continuity of operations of existing environments whilst engaging with the project team to execute a successful construction delivery.
As National Director, John also has knowledge and experience in managing in accordance with NSW Govt Codes and procurement guidelines, GC21 contract format and NSW Govt Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems.. Contract monitoring, construction review and the continued implementation of the contractor’s developed WHSMP is to focus a large project team’s effort to deliver a successful project in a safe manner.
Jon Barnes has extensive experience in all stages of development of major capital social infrastructure projects, with a focus on significant health projects. His experience across contracting, consulting and financing environments has acquired a unique set of skills and attributes that enable him to understand major projects from varied perspectives. He has delivered projects under a wide range of procurement methods including Public Private Partnerships (PPP), Managing Contractor, Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) Design and Construction and Construct only. Jon has held Client Management roles at Director level within major Government delivery agencies within NSW and Victoria responsible for the procurement, design, delivery, and facilities management of the agency’s multiple capital projects.
Prior to joining Colliers in 2021, Jon was a Senior Project Director within School Infrastructure NSW, responsible for the management of the design and delivery of major school projects within NSW. He has also acted within similar roles for NSW Health Infrastructure and the Australian Capital Territory (ACT) Health Directorate where he was responsible for the planning and delivery of major tertiary hospitals. His considerable construction management experience was gained when employed as a construction Project Director within Tier One construction companies and Thiess, where he was responsible for the delivery of two major hospital projects. Jon also has significant industry experience in the formation and delivery of PPP projects and gained this when he was employed by the former infrastructure development company Babcock and Brown.

Kevin has worked on civil, educational, healthcare, leisure and commercial projects in ‘client side’ quantity surveying roles and in commercial management roles for main contracting organisations.

Lizza is a results orientated Project Management and Development Management professional with 20+ years’ experience.
She possess in-depth experience in Commercial Tower Developments, Corporate Office Fitouts, Retail, Mixed Use, Residential and Childcare. Development sites include brown field, staged or new developments across a diverse range of projects from small to large scale.
Lizza prides herself on her ability to de-risk a project and ensure that the client’s objectives are planned and delivered through every stage. She has undertaken due diligence for acquisition, managed multi-disciplinary teams of design consultants, contract procurement, tender negotiations, project management and construction management
Mark joined Colliers International Project Leaders as Design Director in September 2018. He brings to this role 34+ years of Development, Design Management and Architectural experience which he has acquired across projects nationally and internationally.
He has broad ranging skills which traverse a projects lifecycle from the strategic and conceptual development to the final delivery and realisation. He has a sound understand of the development drivers and triggers and how to reconcile the forces influential in creating successful project outcomes. He is a lateral thinker and this 'out of the box' thinking, has lead to some creative solutions to solve challenging problems.

Matt is currently in the process of completing his Bachelor of Engineering (Civil, Structural) - Honours degree at Western Sydney University. With this academic background, Matt presents a strong technical grounding and great problem solving.

Neil is an experienced, proactive and results driven Associate Director with over 18 years’ experience working in both the private and public sectors of the construction industry. His ability to integrate and coordinate multiple stakeholders including clients, consultants, authorities, service providers, contractors and suppliers is a key factor in the successful completion of his projects.
Neil has a diverse level of project management experience across a number of project sectors including: high rise (residential), hotel and resorts, casinos, retail, office fitouts and relocations, commercial, industrial, education, civil and airports. Nick is a keen Project Manager who has built a strong background over a variety of developments. Starting with large health developments, Nick has since moved onto eduction, retail and residential projects with a mix of different public and private clients. Nick is a strong communicator that prides himself on his ability to connnect with his clients and deliver them the results they require. Nick is currently working on the Schools at the Meadowbank Education and Employment Precint with the Colliers Project Leaders Team. The project is due for completion for Day 1 Term 2 2022.
Patrick is a Project Manager with over 7 years industry experience working in both the Australian and United Kingdom construction industry sectors. Patrick has a background in building and throughout this career he has fulfilled roles in contracts administration, quantity surveying and commercial management.
Patrick has a keen interest in value engineering and cost management throughout the project life cycle, and his time working in commercial construction roles have enabled him to develop a significant skill base in this area.
Patrick has worked on a wide variety of mixed-use, commercial and education projects, including landmark developments in the United Kingdom such as the Battersea Power Station Development, as well as several mid and smaller scale Australian projects. Patrick has expertise operating across multiple procurement methodologies including Early Contractor Involvement (ECI), Construction Management (CM), Design & Construct, Construct- Only, and Cost- plus agreements.
Patrick graduated from the University of Sydney with honours, receiving a Bachelor of Construction Project Management. Whilst studying he completed a cadetship FDC Construction & fitout, going on to operate as a Contracts Administrator for several years upon completion of his degree.
In late 2019, Patrick moved to the United Kingdom to further his career development and gain desired exposure to large scale commercial construction projects. Whilst operating in London, Patrick worked as a Quantity Surveyor for Ballymore Group as well as a Commercial Manager for Mace Group, which was his most recent position prior to joining Colliers.
With a career spanning over 18 years within the Construction Industry, Phillipa has been involved in the leadership and management of commercial developments from concept to completion. Ricky is an enthusiastic, result driven Senior Project Manager with over 11 years experience in the property industry. He has provided project management services on a number of projects for national and international Clients throughout Queensland, including QIC, Dexus, Charter Hall, Growthpoint and QUT.

Tia’s previous experience as a Project Coordinator for a Head Contractor of 5 years saw her develop strong contract administration, coordination and communication skills which she now utilises for her role as a Project Engineer with Colliers Project Leaders. In her role with Colliers, Tia uses this previous experience to manage consultants and contractors predominately for large scale Infrastructure projects. Strong coordination and management across multiple stakeholder groups have been vital in assisting delivery of projects successfully on time and budget.
Tia’s most recent experience is on the $220m Wyong Hospital Redevelopment, along with close out of Education and Retail projects. Tia focuses on effective communication across a broad team of consultants, contractors and Clients and has a detailed understanding of how to deliver to the Client’s requirements and expectations for successful completion of projects.
Timothy has eight years’ experience in the construction industry working on both the Head Contractor and Client-Side as a Project Manager.
Timothy has worked on a variety of projects in the educational, commercial, hotel/hospitality and retail sectors in both new build and occupied environments across Australia.
Timothy’s key strengths include effective stakeholder and contractor management and strong problem-solving skills. His extensive site-based background in construction provides valuable insights to the technical aspect of each project he works on and has enabled him to identify and resolve issues throughout the project life cycle to ensure the project is delivered on time and budget.
Tom joined Colliers in 2021, and is a highly motivated and versatile Project Manager with over 14 years’ experience in the construction industry, including being a licensed electrician.
Tom’s experience ranges from small fitouts through to large construction developments across several asset classes, including commercial office, retail and hospitality, residential and medical facilities.
Tom’s desire and motivation to deliver a high standard of work has earned him a well-regarded reputation as a Project Manager. His extensive knowledge of the building code, quality control and stakeholder management has provided him with the foundations to successfully deliver high quality projects on time and on budget.
Tom’s organisational skills, attention to detail and collaborative nature are the key attributes that bring success to his projects.
