Management team promotions to drive growth in key business division.
Colliers International has announced the promotion of Denis Coupland to the role of Managing Director, Real Estate Management (REM).
“I’m delighted to announce Denis’ appointment to this role,” said John Kenny, Chief Executive Officer, Australia and New Zealand, at Colliers International. “After an extensive international market search, Denis was our stand-out candidate, having demonstrated his dedication to our clients and his team over the past five years leading our REM business in New South Wales. He has delivered strong operational growth and is eager to lead the next generation of new business with both existing and new clients.”
Mr Coupland, who has more than 30 years industry experience in property, asset and real estate management, is also Chair of the PCA’s National Professional Development Committee and sits on the judging panel for the PCA’s Innovation and Excellence Awards.
Partnering with Mr Coupland to drive the commercial operations of Colliers International’s REM business will be Sara Pratt, who has been promoted to the new role of National Director & Head of Operations, REM. Ms Pratt will drive increased performance and efficiency within the portfolio, bringing a wealth of leadership, project management, commercial management and client focus skills to the position. Ms Pratt has led the North Sydney division of Colliers International for the past four years.
The financial management of the REM team will now be led by Paul Tosi, who has been promoted to National Director, Financial and Client Accounting, REM. Mr Tosi’s accounting background and deep understanding of the REM division developed over the past four years in the finance team at Colliers International, will be crucial in innovating the existing REM technology platform, processes and systems to continue to lead the market.
Providing a new focus on private clients in the REM business will be Julia Batterley, who steps into the role of National Director, Private Clients, REM. Ms Batterley, who has been with Colliers International for five years, will now be responsible for managing the real estate management needs of private clients, particularly those in metro markets.
Meanwhile the REM division in New South Wales will now be led by Michael Rowlands, who has worked closely with Denis Coupland over the last two years. Mr Rowlands, who has extensive experience both on the client and agency side, has a deep understand of the REM business and will work closely with the new leadership team to evolve and grow the division in New South Wales.
