A place for the whole town to connect.
Connecting people, transport, lifestyle and living, Box Hill Town Centre offers more than just a shopping destination. It’s a place for the whole town to connect.
Box Hill Town Centre is the newest mixed-use precinct to be launched and will be home to over 4,000 families and over 30,000 people.
The masterplan will feature 40ha of open space for the new residents as well as a new 4ha artificial lake as the centre piece of the new township. It will be developed on Mason Road and Terry Road with a main street fronting Mason Road enjoying street activation.
The town centre will be part of a new multi-million dollar mixed use development housing close to 700 apartments, with 35 retailers including a full line supermarket, a fresh food market, dine-in and take-away food outlets and essential services such as medical, pharmacy and service retailers. The property will be constructed by Sydney based developer Toplace.
Jean Nassif, Director at Toplace is very enthusiastic about the future of Box Hill.
“We are extremely positive about this project and hope to leave a positive physical, financial and social legacy for the local community with job opportunities and housing options in the beautiful suburb of Box Hill. Our developments have a strong focus on environmental sustainability, as well as being rich in style and high in quality” he said.
Colliers International is the exclusive retail leasing agency on behalf of Toplace and are looking for retailers that want to connect with over 30,000 people in their direct business area.
With retail expenditure of the main trade area estimated to grow from $125.2 million to over $681 million*, that is an average growth rate of over 10%. In addition, the average household income in the primary area for Box Hill Town Centre are 10% higher than the Sydney average*.
According to George Wragge, Director, Project Leasing | Retail for Colliers International, Box Hill is situated amongst one of Sydney’s most affluent and fastest growing corridors of Sydney.
“The town centre and associated retailers will offer customers a convenient, easy to access amenity based shop”
“The retail interest from retail operators in the North West over the past 3-5 years has been unprecedented for a metro market of Sydney” he said.
Retail leasing for Phase 1 has now commenced through Colliers International and civil works are to commence early next year for a completion in mid to late 2019.
Sydney Metro Northwest is delivering eight new railway stations and 4,000 commuter car parking spaces to Sydney’s growing North West. Trains will run every four minutes in the peak, that’s 15 trains an hour.
