The Crossing acreage land community in Karalee, has sold 25 out of 34 home sites in its first release. Developed by Karalee Land Partners, the 72 hectare site features 160 residential lots over nine stages, with a total end value of $45.6 million.
The lots range in size from 2,000sqm to 8,510sqm. Construction of the fully serviced lots in the first release is almost complete with the remaining lots priced from $275,000 to $285,000.
Daniel Hirst, Associate Director of Residential at Colliers International is marketing the estate on behalf of the developer Karalee Land Partners. Mr Hirst said that The Crossing is the only acreage land community in the region and will attract families who enjoy open space and a close-knit community feel.
“The Crossing is an outstanding opportunity for people to live within 40 minutes from the Brisbane CBD on fully serviced small acreage land in a beautiful location in proximity to the Brisbane River.
“It is very conveniently located, close to Colleges Crossing recreation area, less than a kilometre to Karalee Shopping Village and only a few minutes to the highway and Mt Crosby Road which leads into Brisbane.
“We invite people to visit to see what Karalee has to offer and how close it is to Brisbane. As an example, Mango Hill on the north is the same distance to Brisbane CBD as Karalee is in the south. Considering this The Crossing offers great value as the price of acreage land here is comparable to 400sqm lots in the surrounding regions closer to the city,” said Mr Hirst.
One of the buyers Michelle Dawson said: “After what felt like an eternity of looking for our family home, we decided that we would instead build the house we wanted. Finding a conveniently placed, good sized block however, proved difficult.
“The location of 'The Crossing' allows us easy access to Ipswich as well as the Warrego Highway and Brisbane. With the development of the suburb of Karalee, its shopping and services, and Colleges Crossing reserve at our doorstep, 'The Crossing' is the perfect choice for our new family to call home. We're looking forward to handover, and seeing our little dream becoming a reality.”
Another buyer Melissa Daetz said: “The Crossing offers such a wonderful lifestyle with space and open surrounds to enjoy. Whilst only being a short drive away from the shops, recreation and education.
“Going from living on a small block of land to the spacious block offered at The Crossing, without the price tag is invigorating and exciting to finally have the room to move, entertain and relax.”
