Two key appointments made in Melbourne and Sydney as sector prospers
Colliers International has announced two key appointments in Melbourne and Sydney as part of the ongoing expansion of its national Lifestyle Estates team.
Colliers International Lifestyle Estates, part of the company’s Rural & Agribusiness division, specialises in marketing luxury and lifestyle properties across city, coastal and rural Australia.
Kim McQueen has been appointed to the role of Director – Lifestyles Estates based in Colliers International’s Melbourne CBD office.
“For more than 25 years, Kim has been part of Australia’s high-end property scene marketing prestige residences and stunning lifestyle estates,” Shane McIntyre, Colliers International National Director of Rural & Agribusiness, said. “Kim will work alongside our Rural & Agribusiness team in the Melbourne CBD and will be responsible for marketing lifestyle estates throughout the Victorian region.
“This senior appointment will immediately build on the success and growth of our Lifestyle Estates team in Sydney."
Ms McQueen said she was excited to be able to focus solely within the prestige and luxury lifestyle space in her new role with Colliers International.
“This is a growing sector within the property market that has certainly gained in popularity,” she said. “More and more people are opting for lifestyle choices and choosing to live within an hour and a half radius of Melbourne while commuting for work.
“We will present some of Victoria’s best rural and seaside lifestyle property to both a national and global audience."
Richard Sholl has also joined the team in the role of Executive – Lifestyle Estates, based in Colliers International’s Sydney CBD office.
“Richard brings significant luxury lifestyle estates experience to the role and will be instrumental in continuing to grow our Sydney capabilities, alongside Deborah Cullen,” Mr McIntyre said.
The strategic appointments signal Colliers International’s continued expansion in the burgeoning lifestyle estates market, complementing the company’s existing deep expertise in both the rural and agribusiness and residential sectors.
“We are excited to continue the growth of our Lifestyle Estates team during what is a very vibrant time in Australian property, when interest in lifestyle and prestige property is at an all-time high,” Mr McIntyre said.
