Koda Capital Services has committed to DEXUS Property Group’s 385 Bourke Street in a deal negotiated by Colliers International.
Koda Capital will occupy 450sqm on a 5-year lease negotiated by Colliers International’s Adam Davy.
“Koda Capital specialises in private wealth management and were seeking sub-500sqm of space in the Melbourne CBD, preferably within a building that offered high quality facilities to cater for client meetings,” Mr Davy said.
“The sleek floor space refurbishment and state-of-the-art facilities DEXUS Property Group have created at 385 Bourke Street are a major draw card for tenants like Koda Capital.
“Koda Capital’s premises has two separate entrances, allowing the company to subdivide the space and sublease a private tenancy with its own entrance to fund manager Westoz. This significant point of difference benefitted both tenants, as they are able to share meeting rooms as part of their layout."
DEXUS Place, recently opened at 385 Bourke Street, is a Melbourne first offering incorporating state-of-the-art premium meeting, training and conference facilities with the latest collaborative technology.
“The central core floorplate at 385 Bourke Street offers column-free space for flexibility in workplace design and can be subdivided to accommodate requirements from 200sqm-1,250sqm per floor,” Mr Davy said.
“Colliers International has achieved excellent rentals on behalf of DEXUS Property Group by formulating the strategy to subdivide floors and target tenants seeking part floors within the A-Grade building.”
