The first stage in one of Melbourne’s most uniquely iconic new residential projects is set to launch this week amidst predictions of strong interest from local and offshore buyers alike.
Located in the heart of the Melbourne CBD on the corner of Spencer and Lonsdale Streets, Far East Consortium’s West Side Place is being exclusively marketed by Colliers International.
Boasting four striking towers, the tallest extending to 81 floors, the luxury development will be anchored by a proposed Ritz-Carlton hotel and will offer stunning one, two and three bedroom residences with expansive views across the bay and cityscape.
Expressions of Interest for 1,369 residences across two towers in Stage One will launch on June 4.
Tim Storey, Colliers International Managing Director of Residential, said West Side Place would be truly synonymous with all the luxury associated with the world’s premium hotel brand.
“Inspired by the hotel’s exceptional amenity offerings, residents can expect high-quality residential facilities including pools, gymnasiums, lounges, dining rooms, kitchens, club lounge, karaoke and mah-jong rooms, cinema, virtual golf, library, function rooms and more,” Mr Storey said.
“West Side Place embodies a new height of luxury inner city living, anchored by the top luxury hotel brand in the world.
“Sitting proudly as the centrepiece of this unique CBD precinct, the Ritz-Carlton hotel will offer guests a new experience in luxury accommodation to Melbourne, attracting visitors from across the globe."
The proposed Ritz-Carlton hotel at West Side Place will set a new record as the tallest hotel in Australia, complete with a “sky check-in” on level 79 and 263 luxury hotel suites with quality finishes and furniture including state-of-the-art bathrooms, luxurious amenities and breathtaking views.
As part of the development, a new central laneway will connect Lonsdale and Little Lonsdale Streets. Residents and passers-by will be able to enjoy an extensive network of garden and leisure spaces as part of the 4000sqm of parks and open spaces that will be created including over 2000sqm on the ground floor of the precinct.
Upon completion, West Side Place will feature two new arcades, with more than 1500sqm of ground floor retail space in Stage 1 set to offer a selection of specialty retail, food and beverage and service offerings to complement existing retail nearby.
Residences at West Side Place will be designed with the highest quality interior finishes and fittings, including engineered timber floors, stone kitchen benchtops, stone splashbacks, 100% wool carpets and European appliances.
