KX Pilates has launched its first CBD premises on Level 3 at 130 Bourke Street in a leasing deal facilitated by Colliers International’s Stephanie Hawkins.
The KX brand currently has 21 studios across Australia.
Aaron Smith, founder and CEO of KX, said the company had been waiting for the right size and location to launch its first CBD studio in Australia.
“This space on Level 3 at 130 Bourke St was too good to be true, particularly given its location at the desirable Paris end of the Melbourne CBD," he said.
“With a location that allows us to cater to our corporate clientele during the week along with surrounding residents to fill classes on the weekends, the new studio buzzes with life at all hours throughout the week."
KX Pilates chose to deal exclusively with Stephanie Hawkins of Colliers International.
Ms Hawkins said due to a lack in availability of small, east end stock, KX was aggressive in securing a whole floor within the character building.
“The location at the eastern end of the CBD provides staff and clients with easy access to public transport and a bustling retail precinct,” she said.
“With a lack of small, self-contained spaces available at this prestigious end of the city, KX are thrilled with their new premises."
Ms Hawkins negotiated a five-year term with KX Pilates and the popular brand has installed a boutique and specialized fit out.
"This was a great result for the landlord that strengthens the existing tenancy mix at 130 Bourke Street," Ms Hawkins said.
