MSS Security has moved into Brisbane Technology Park (BTP) in Eight Mile Plains after signing a 10 year lease for 574sqm of brand new office space.
Located at 2/4 Clunies Ross Court, the three level commercial building totals 4,425sqm and forms the first stage of the newly developed Innovation Precinct at BTP, a joint venture between Alceon and Greystone.
Construction of the BTP Quest Hotel and the new multi deck carpark will be completed mid-2017, with an additional five buildings to be developed over the next five years.
“Alceon is delighted with the pre commitment of MSS to our latest office development at Eight Mile Plains,” said Todd Pepper, Executive Director at Alceon. “This deal is testament to the quality of the office development being completed at Eight Mile Plains Innovation Precinct”.
Bo Veivers, National Director of Office Leasing at Colliers International negotiated the lease at $395/sqm net for a turnkey fitout. “MSS Security were moving all of their state offices into brand new facilities, and the Brisbane office was the last one to undergo that process,” Mr Veivers said.
“They liked this particular opportunity because of the quality product and location with good amenity, connectivity to Brisbane’s arterial road network and the new BTP Quest Hotel located on the same street. The lease arrangement also includes over 15 car parks.”
The new Innovation Precinct offers unrivalled exposure to Miles Platting Road and Logan Road and is an extension of Clunies Ross Court which features a variety of cafes, The BTP Conference Centre, a range of meeting rooms and other commercial services.
