Property Council awards recognise community and sustainability achievements.
Colliers International has collected awards for two of the commercial properties it manages—the office tower at 197 St Georges Terrace and the Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research, at the Property Council of WA’s 2016 Property Awards on Friday.
The ESD and Sustainability Award was awarded to the CBD flagship 197 St Georges Terrace which is owned by GDI Property Group.
The office tower’s improvements in sustainability have made the asset one of the CBD’s top performing buildings in terms of energy, water and indoor environment rankings.
The building has achieved a 5.5 Star NABERS Energy Rating, a 4.5 Star NABERS Water Rating and 5 Star NABERS Indoor Environment Rating.
The Community Engagement Award was presented to the Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research for its efforts to connect with a wider Perth audience.
The Institute has a busy calendar of events to promote its medical research and attract future support from the community for its Nedlands-based facility, which is delivering major improvements in human health.
