QT Hotels and Resorts to make its debut in Parramatta’s CBD

AHL to manage Coronation hotel in Phillip Street, Parramatta.

The Parramatta CBD is set to welcome its newest five star hotel, with Coronation Property announcing its partnership with QT Hotel and Resorts for a 54 storey building boasting 14 levels of designer QT Hotel accommodation under 35 levels of high end residential apartments.

Set to open in 2020, the Woods Bagot-designed property, located at 8 Phillip Street, has capacity for 198 deluxe hotel rooms and approximately 320 residential apartments and will feature as one of Australia's tallest residential towers and new core commercial precincts.

Gus Moors and Christopher Milou of Colliers International assisted with the hotel management agreement for Coronation Property, one of Australia’s leading property development and construction companies, and Mr Moors, Head of Hotels, Australia for Colliers International said “The building's unique design will be a welcomed addition to the Parramatta skyline, as the development will incorporate the existing church which currently occupies the address.

“QT Parramatta's addition to the market will be well timed to make an immediate impact on the already buoyant Parramatta hotel market.”

According to Joseph Nahas, Managing Director for Coronation Property, “This world-class design will be a transformative project for Parramatta and provides the perfect home for an equally game changing hotel brand.

“Parramatta deserves an operator of this class. And equally, tourists and business people visiting Parramatta deserve this level of accommodation and hospitality experience.”

QT Hotels’ signature designer, yet quirky spaces, combined with bold entertainment and relaxing guest experiences has become renowned in the hotel and hospitality sector since it opened QT Gold Coast in 2011.
