Retailers sought to join IGA at Stonehill Village

A retail leasing campaign is set to commence this month for tenants to join the new Stonehill Village Centre, a neighbourhood shopping centre within Maddingley, Bacchus Marsh.

Mike Crittenden and Bernie Canning, of Colliers International’s Victorian Retail Project Leasing team, have been appointed to lease the 3,893sqm (approx.) village on behalf of H Troon Pty Ltd.

The offering will consist of an IGA supermarket, along with 12 specialty stores and three pad sites, including a childcare centre, petrol station and drive through dining offering.

“Stonehill Village Centre is positioned in a fast-growing community surrounded by Devine’s $550million* Stonehill master plan, which is set to be home to around 4,000* residents,” Mr Crittenden said. “Population in the area is forecast to increase by 62% by 2036.

“The 20,000sqm site is prominently positioned on the corner of McCormacks Road and the Halletts Way extension with an extensive combined frontage of 234m*. There will also be on grade car parking for 185 vehicles."

The commencement of the Halletts Way/O’Leary Way southern extension is scheduled for the beginning of 2016, which would further improve access for motorists and would be a significant asset to Bacchus Marsh residents.

Maddingley, located around 55km west of the Melbourne CBD, is surrounded by a rich collection of national parks and waterways which offer bushwalking tracks and the opportunity to explore the scenic gorges and ranges in the area.

Stonehill Village is scheduled to open in late 2017.
