Luke Dutton also joins Tenant Advisory team.
Simon Crouch has been promoted to National Director, Head of Tenant Advisory, Occupier Services effective 1 January 2016.
Simon Crouch, who has been with Colliers International for 19 years, started out in the Office Leasing division, before transitioning to tenant advisory.
“We’re thrilled to promote Simon to this key role,” said Head of Occupier Services at Colliers International, Doug Henry. “During his time with the team, Simon has driven major growth in tenant advisory, both in terms of team size and client assignments, whereby our team is now regularly working on large complex assignments for leading national and international brands”.
“Tenant advisory services are being used more and more by enterprise corporates who are keen to ensure their property strategy is maximised, so we continue to see significant potential in this area of the business.”
During 2015 the tenant advisory team grew considerably; doubling in size, in Sydney and Melbourne. This growth is expected to continue in 2016 as client demand for tenant advisory rises.
“As part of this growth, we welcome Luke Dutton in the role of Tenant Advisor Director, based in the Sydney CBD Office,” said Mr Crouch. “Luke will focus on engaging local and global clients. He brings skills in asset management and corporate real estate across commercial, industrial and retail property sectors and has extensive knowledge in corporate and institutional grade property in both the Australian and UK property market.
“I’m excited to see this team grow as the success of the tenant advisory offering is a major focus for Colliers International both in Australia and globally”.
According to Mr Crouch, the growth to date, and future success for the division, is depended upon the ability to offer a full range of occupier services to clients.
“It’s no longer enough to get our clients the best deal in the market,” said Mr Crouch. “Corporate occupiers are dependent on us to provide a full range of occupier services from workplace design and strategy to project management and workplace management solutions. They’re looking to us for the trends and information on what’s going to be important to the corporate occupier in the future.”
