A diverse range of retailers are being sought to join the new-look Sunshine Plaza Shopping Centre in Melbourne’s booming western suburbs.
Colliers International’s Mike Crittenden and Julian Mero have been appointed as leasing agents for Sunshine Plaza, a recently refurbished shopping centre with a GLA of $15,395 at the heart of the Sunshine.
Mr Crittenden said Sunshine Plaza Shopping Centre represented a high quality retail experience for both residents and visitors.
“Sunshine Plaza has a prime main street presence in the growing Melbourne suburb of Sunshine,” he said. “It is a focal point for the local community and a recent refurbishment has added new life and colour to this vibrant community hub, including a new solar and green initiative.
“We are looking for a range of fresh food, food court, service and retail offerings to complement the existing tenancy mix."
Sunshine Plaza is home to a range of leading retailers including retail giants Woolworths, Aldi and Vic Fields alongside four mini-majors and 32 specialty stores.
“The diverse mix of retailers ensures a solid and loyal customer base drawn from the local area, which has a population of around 85,000 people,” Mr Crittenden said.
Sunshine Plaza is serviced by 877 car parks, with more than 700 of those under cover, and encompasses a net lettable area of 15,514sqm.
Located just 12km from the Melbourne CBD, Sunshine Plaza is also situated close to the Sunshine Train Station and has a Smart Bus service on its doorstep.
