A prominent corner site close to the CBD, airport and major arterials has sold on auction day following keen interest from a range of buyers.
Colliers International’s Tom Barrett and Jay Nash have sold 664 South Road in Glandore to a private investor for $750,000.
“This high profile office-warehouse in a quality blue chip location represented a rare opportunity for astute owner occupiers and investors,” Mr Barrett said.
“The market is starved of quality industrial buildings, particularly in the inner west and inner south regions,” he said. “Occupiers certainly see the upside of owning their own facilities and we had significant interest in this campaign."
The modern office warehouse facility comprises 406sqm quality building improvements including high clearance warehousing and immaculately presented office accommodation over two levels. The property is also accompanied by five onsite car parks and was offered with vacant possession.
Mr Barrett said the property attracted keen interest prior to auction day and was subject to a strong contest from eager buyers.
Following the sale, Colliers International was appointed by the new owner as sole leasing agent and is currently finalising terms with a local healthcare equipment distributor business to occupy the property.
