Two Colliers International agents recognised for outstanding performance in the real estate sector.
Real estate’s top performers have been recognised at the 2017 Real Estate Institute of New South Wales Awards for Excellence.
At last night’s 21st annual Awards for Excellence Gala Dinner, held at the Exhibition Hall in Australia Technology Park in Sydney, Colliers International was presented with four awards for Commercial Salesperson, Achievement Award, Rural Marketer award and Agency of the Year.
“The REINSW Awards for Excellence identifies industry leaders throughout the real estate profession and I’m incredibly proud that Colliers received two awards across a range of categories,” said Malcom Tyson, State Chief Executive, New South Wales.
Maria Agostino received the Achievement Award for 2017. Maria began at Colliers in 2004, starting as a receptionist in the Sydney South West office before making the transition to an operator role in 2016, where she has flourished. In her first year, Maria achieved 19 deals including 4 auctions.
Richard Royle received the Rural Marketer award, predominantly based on campaign which included print media, digital, video, editorials and social media. The price achieved for the property in question was in excess of 25% more than the market opinion at the commencement of the campaign. The property stood out in the crowd and the high level of international buyer enquiry demonstrated that the marketing campaign was well planned and executed, with buyer and vendor satisfied with the outcome.
Colliers International had six finalists across five categories, reflecting the enterprising and client-focused approach that has made the company a leading global real estate company.
Finalists and the relevant categories include: Michael Crombie, Miron Solomons and James Wilson (Commercial Salesperson), and Commercial Agency – Large.
The most prestigious awards of their kind in NSW, finalists and winners set the benchmark for professional standards and service in their specialist fields.
