Colliers International lists 4,268sqm project site at 851 Whitehorse Road with permit for 517 apartments, 150-room hotel and commercial and retail spaces
A proposed three-tower mixed-use development is set to become a new landmark for Box Hill in its transformation of the inner-east suburban landscape.
The 4,268sqm site at 851 Whitehorse Road has a permit in place for 517 apartments, a 150-room hotel and several commercial and retail spaces across the three high-rise buildings.
Colliers International’s Bryson Cameron, Trent Hobart, Hamish Burgess and Jun Lai have been appointed to the expressions of interest campaign, closing Tuesday, June 13.
“We are delighted to offer for sale this irreplaceable landholding on the doorstep of all the amenity that Box Hill has to offer,” Mr Cameron said.
“A tremendous planning permit has been achieved here, representing Box Hill’s largest permit-approved site available for sale and an opportunity to deliver a defining development in one of Melbourne’s best suburban markets.”
Mr Hobart said the property, zoned for Commercial 1, was in one of the best-located sites in Box Hill, metres from Box Hill Central, Box Hill station, the hospital and education precincts and several parks and gardens.
“This is a proven premium location with proven return on investment, in one of Melbourne’s most robust apartment markets,” he said.
“Once complete, the three towers will take advantage of the prime location and capture spectacular future view lines of the eastern suburbs and back towards the city.”
Expressions of interest close Tuesday, June 13 at 3pm.
