Colliers International’s Melbourne CBD Retail team welcomes new leasing executive
Colliers International’s Large Format Retail team, a division of the Retail product line, has appointed a new senior leasing executive, growing the team to nine people across Australia.
Maria Lenne, who has more than 25 years’ experience in the commercial property industry, joins Colliers International having previously worked for The Good Guys, where she was the national property manager and responsible for the chain’s significant expansion.
Other major national brands Mrs Lenne has worked with include Bunnings, Bakers Delight and Sportsgirl.
National retail marketing manager, Shane Stewart, said Colliers International was excited to welcome Mrs Lenne into the business.
“Colliers International now has two dedicated Large Format Retail team members based in Victoria, making it the second biggest team in the country,” he said.
“The appointment follows the recent expansions of several large format retail projects in Melbourne.”
Having previously served on the board of the Large Format Retail Association, Mrs Lenne said that she was “looking forward to adding a retailer’s perspective and adding value to Colliers International’s clients and their assets in this dynamic sector of the retail industry”.
Mrs Lenne will be working closely with Melbourne-based senior leasing executive Daniel Noonan and reporting to national director for Large Format Retail, Tony Draper, and director, Cameron Henshaw, in Sydney.
