Adjoining lots offer two street frontages and room for expansion.
Colliers International agents Jeremy Parasiliti and Martin Vogt have been appointed to sell two adjoining industrial properties in Maddington in a campaign that will bring to market one of the biggest landholdings in the tightly-held industrial area.
The 1.2ha property at 10 Malcolm Road has a 4790sqm warehouse, five gantry cranes, a 3500sqm yard area and several offices. It has an asking price of $6.5 million plus GST.
The agents are also selling the 4387sqm parcel of land at the rear of the Malcolm Road property. The 4387sqm block fronts Alloa Road and has an asking price of $1.525 million plus GST.
Mr Parasiliti said the properties at 10 Malcolm Road and 7 Alloa Road could be purchased together or separately.
“Most of the surrounding properties have been subdivided to lots of around 2000sqm so this is a rare listing for Maddington’s industrial area,” he said.
“If the properties were purchased together, the buyer would also secure an industrial site with street frontage to Malcolm and Alloa roads.”
Mr Parasiliti said recent planning changes converting more of the area between Maddington and Welshpool to industrial-zoned land would also improve Maddington’s connection with the wider industrial area east of Perth.
The properties have a general industrial zoning and neighbouring businesses include Midalia Steel and laboratory group Intertek.
Mr Vogt said the Malcolm Road property, to be sold with vacant possession, would be on the inspection lists of a number of manufacturing businesses.
Maddington is 20km from Perth’s CBD and has good access to Albany, Roe and Tonkin highways.
