Outstanding 2016 results boost REM recruitment in line with 2017 product line goals

Colliers International’s Victoria business welcomes new state director for Real Estate Management, while farewelling company stalwart

Under the leadership of state director Lisa Trigg, 2016 was an outstanding year for Colliers International’s Victorian Real Estate Management division.

Incredible achievements in the Melbourne market resulted in almost doubling the Victorian REM business’ annuity revenue, further increasing client trust and satisfaction levels, and driving the implementation of the Colliers International dashboard services across Victoria’s client base.

“Throughout 2016, the Melbourne-based team saw its business double across all asset classes in the CBD and key metropolitan areas,” Denis Coupland, managing director of REM, said.

In a bittersweet move following the unprecedented success, Mrs Trigg will resign from her role as state director of Victoria REM this month to relocate to Adelaide and embark on maternity leave.

Colliers International welcomed David Kollias as her replacement on January 30.

Mr Kollias is an exceptional real estate executive with strong leadership credentials, proven success in the Melbourne property market and a balance of retail and commercial capability.

“Most importantly, David is attuned to the demands of major private investors, syndicates and institutional owners,” Mr Coupland said.

“His experience with United Group Global Services and Global Property Solutions, a joint venture between JLL and Spotless, has provided him with in-depth experience from the major occupier’s side, working on accounts such as NAB and ANZ. David has also worked in the onsite management team at Southgate.

“As we welcome David, we wish to thank Lisa for her tremendous work and contribution to the Real Estate Management business in Victoria.”
