Colliers International selected to manage major commercial assets for new and existing clients, including Ferntree Business Park and Target Centre Melbourne
Colliers International’s Victorian Real Estate Management (REM) team continues to be selected to manage key commercial properties of new and existing clients, from Melbourne’s CBD to the metro and outer suburbs, across all asset classes.
Since David Kollias’ appointment to the role of state director at the end of 2016, the REM team has gone from strength to strength, making more than 20 management appointments in the past six months.
Most recently, the team has been appointed to manage two prime city assets for a private Singapore-based client, which include an 8,019sqm commercial office tower at 120 Harbour Esplanade, Docklands, and Target Centre Melbourne at 222 Bourke Street.
Mr Kollias said his strong relationship with the client, which spans more than 10 years, coupled with Colliers International’s ability to attract top talent, as illustrated by the appointment of Mike Turner as senior facilities manager for the assets, helped to secure the REM appointment.
Other recruits include Anja Schaefer, who joins the team from Goodman and is the new general manager for the Ferntree Business Park acquisition; Lewis Johnson, who joins as an assistant facilities manager as the team expands its portfolio in Melbourne’s eastern suburbs; and Bart Hand, who also joins as an assistant facilities manager but is based in Colliers International’s Melbourne North-West office managing the 151 Property industrial portfolio.
“As the Melbourne market remains active, we are pleased to welcome a number of outstanding property professionals to our team,” Mr Kollias said.
