Properties earmarked for supermarket, tavern and discount department store
Colliers International is selling three retail lots in the fast-growing Dalyellup Beach residential estate, a beachside community eight kilometres south of Bunbury that is being developed by the Satterley Property Group.
Together with a neighbourhood Woolworths-anchored shopping centre which opened in 2015, the three sites will form a key part of the Dalyellup town centre on Portobello Road.
The properties have a total area of 49,043sqm with 14,442sqm earmarked for a supermarket site, 7038sqm for a tavern and a 27,563sqm for a discount department store.
Selling agent Collier International’s Mark Werrett said the cleared sites were just 350m from Bussell Highway, the main thoroughfare between Perth and the South West’s tourist attractions.
“These sites will allow for a variety of retail uses and configurations and will complement Dalyellup’s emerging town centre,” Mr Werrett said.
When finished, Dalyellup Beach Estate will have 3400 lots and around 10,000 residents. The town centre will also service a wider residential area with a report from MacroPlan Dimasi indicating the primary trade area around the retail lots was forecast to increase from 18,310 in 2015 to 30,100 in 2026.
Expressions of interest close on March 10.
