Victorian Industrial team hosts third and largest client forum for 2017

Colliers International hosts major forum for developers and institutional owners

Colliers International’s Victoria-based Industrial team hosted a successful major forum for developers and institutional owners last month, marking the third and largest client forum for 2017.

More than 75 key clients were in attendance, including Ascendas, Cbus Super, Centuria, Charter Hall and Dexus, responding with strong positive feedback for the topics covered.

Colliers International's Melbourne north-west office director, Nick Saunders, hosted the event and welcomed guest speaker Peter Elliott, principal analyst of the Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning.

“Peter’s focus is on employment and industry, land uses and population research,” Mr Saunders said.

“He addressed key issues surrounding the future of industrial land, including why we need it, supply versus demand, land rezoning, and redevelopment.”

Mr Elliott’s presentation was followed by a Q&A session with Colliers International panel members Justin Fried (director for Industrial) , Marco Sandrin (associate director for Industrial), Gordon Code (senior executive for Industrial), Stephen Ryan (senior executive for Industrial), Tony Iuliano (national director for Industrial) and Mr Saunders.

“Initial feedback from our clients was extremely positive,” Mr Saunders said.

“Most found the forum to be very informative and have said they’re looking forward to the next one.”
